Sri Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara believes an early start to current tri-series matches in Bangladesh would help beat the dew factor and reduce the number of one-sided contests.
Sri Lanka began the tournament with a seven-wicket victory over Bangladesh and followed it up with a five wicket victory over India in successive days.
“I’ve seen dew, but I’ve never seen dew like this,” Sangakkara said.
“I wouldn’t want to field in these conditions and my bowlers wouldn’t want to bowl in conditions like this.
“The difference is really day and night and it is not the greatest conditions to really compete in.
“I think an 11am start or just after would be ideal, but that’s something everyone has to agree to.”
India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni also blamed the team’s inability to defend a decent total to the dew factor and said the side might request the organisers for an early start to the remaining matches.
