Gold jewellery worth Rs.45 million seized at the airport

Gold jewellery worth Rs.45 million illegally brought from Singapore to Sri Lanka have been seized at the Katunayake international airport early today(24), the custom officials said. They were seized according to a tip received by the special services and investigation division of the customs. The jewellery were 6 kilos in weight, an official said.
