Major Split In TNA

Reports reached to Colombo indicate there were major split in Tamil National Alliance.  TNA senior leader former parliamentarian Suresh Premachandran has indicated some of  former TNA parliamentarians would not be given the chance to contest next parliamentary election representing their party.

He said the party was now in the process of finalizing the nomination list.  Meanwhile, former Jaffna district  outspoken TNA parliamentarian M.K. Sivajilingam says he will take a final decision after considering the TNA decision. He said anyway he will take steps to contest next parliamentary election from Jaffna district.   ‘Jaffna district voters want to see me at next parliament too’, he  said.
