One of the main reason for the defeat is the inefficient and unqualified principal of the biggest government girls’ school of AMINIYA SCHOOL, Mrs Wafa waheed. The only qualification is she is close related to Gayoom. She spoiled the future generation of Maldives and hated by each and every students. Almost all the students decided and influence young voters and their families to vote aganst Gayoom. Now Gayoom is unfortunate to taste the defeat definitely due to this.
