Guidelines:

JNW aims to provide a space for readers to post their observations, feelings and needs and engage in a dialogue which also respects comments of others.

We hope readers will choose to refrain from comments that contain accusation, blame and judgment.

We urge that sources are mentioned for any news that you wish to post and that posts are not defamatory or misleading.

JNW does not wish to restrict anyone from posting comments, but will moderate comments along the above mentioned guidelines. Use of multiple names can lead to the IP address being considered a source of spam.
All first comments are moderated. Subsequent comments are not automatically queued for moderation, so do post responsibly.

Articles in English can be submitted in all standard fonts.

    Monthly salary of a cabinet minister ? Rs. 65,000
    Monthly salary of a non cabinet minister ? Rs.63,500
    The incentive for participating for a parliamentary session ? Rs.500
    The incentive for participating for a select committee? Rs.200
    Monthly fuel incentive for a cabinet and a non cabinet minister ? Rs. 75,000
    Monthly fuel incentive deputy minister – Rs.50,000
    Monthly incentive for the personal telephone ? Rs.20,000
    Monthly mobile incentive ? Rs. 10,000
    The facility is provided to take an unlimited amount of IDD and local calls from the official telephone for a month.

    Every minister has a right to employ 4 secretaries as media, personal,
    coordinating, and public relations. Vehicles, fuel incentives, telephone
    incentives and limited entertainment incentives are provided for all of
    them from the ministry.

    For the 18 cabinet and non cabinet ministers, the monthly expense for fuel
    >From the government is Rs:1,350,000. Also for the 10 new deputy ministers,
    Rs:500,000 should be separated. The total monthly fuel expense for them is
    Rs:1,850,000.

    Wijedasa Rajapakshe must be regarded as a hero.He didnt want to get in to this cess pit(parliment)He Joined Rajapakshe regime to do some service to the nation when he has a lucerative practice in the legal field.

    It is a very good lesson for all (edited) ministers. Now Mr. Mahinda should remove this man from the cabinet, as well as other two (edited) ,Susantha Punchi Nilame and Mahinda Rathnathilaka. Also Mr Mahinda should reduce the number of ministers into a reasonable number/OR should cut all the previlages as ministers and they have to work with MP previlages as ministers.
