Some Of The Former TNA MPs Not To Recieve TNA Ticket

Most of the  former  Tamil National Alliance parliamentarians will not  get the nominations to contest forthcoming parliamentary elections under the TNA list. According to the reports reached Colombo indicate the TNA has decided  not to give nominations  ten out of 22  former parliamentarians representing north and east province.

Meanwhile, yesterday former Batticaloa district TNA parliamentarian Mrs. K. Tangeshwari obtained the membership of Sri Lanka Freedom Party.   UPFA General Secretary Minister Susil Premajayantha says  Mrs. Tangeshwari will be contesting the forthcoming general elections from Batticaloa district under the UPFA ticket.

Mrs. Tangeshwari said within the next couple of days several other former TNA parliamentarians are to join the SLFP.
