Sri Lanka & New Zealand Share Points

Heavy rain in Dambulla forced the Tri-Nations match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand to be called off without a result as the two teams shared the four points. Sri Lanka were 203 for 3 in 43.4 overs when rain set in after New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl first. The result means that Sri Lanka with six points will have to beat India on Sunday to qualify for the final as New Zealand is ahead with seven points-JNW
