Sri Lanka has secured third place of the medal table of the 11th South Asian Games in Dhaka after winning six gold medals on Sunday.

Three of Sri Lankan Golds came in athletics in the men’s 100X4 relay, women’s 400X4 relay, women’s 400 meters , women’s high jump while two other gold medals came in swimming and Karate.
Sri Lanka was in fourth place behind Bangladesh earlier, but jumped to the third place following yesterday’s victories-JNW
