UNP’s Executive Committee Meets Today

United National Party’s executive committee meeting will take place this evening at the party’s headquarters; Sirikotha. UNP sources said that reform members will be bringing proposals on party’s constitution. The powers of the party leader, new method to elect the leader and senior party leader post are the topics to be taken to discussion today.
Anyway, sources close to party leader Ranil Wickramasinghe says the present leader will be strong enough to face any challenge from the reformists.
