Thisara Perera Sold For US $50,000 In IPL Auction

Promising young all rounder Thisara Perera was the only Sri Lankan player to earn a contract at the Indian Premier League (IPL) player auction yesterday

Eight Sri Lankans who had been shortlisted for this year’s auction. Chinthaka Jayasinghe, Thilina Kandamby, Nuwan Kulasekara, Chamara Silva, Upul Tharanga, Kaushalya Weeraratne, Chanaka Welegedara, and Nuwan Zoysa were unsold.
