Former captains Younus Khan and Muhammad Yousuf will no longer be considered for selection by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after an inquiry into reports of infighting on the disastrous tour of Australia.

Defending champions Wayamba Province registered convincing 95 runs win over Ruhuna in the final played at De Zoysa Stadium in Moratuwa yesterday. In the process Wayamba retained the title for the third successive year.
Wayamba’s Jeewantha Kulatunga the only centurion of the tournament was named the man of the tournament with Mahela Jaywardena taking the man of the final award. Ruhuna’s Dinesh Chandimal and Basnahira South’s Janaka Gunaratne carried away the award for the best batsman and bowler of the tournament. The champion Wayamba team received a cash award of Rs. One million with runners-up Ruhuna receiving Rs. 500,000/-.
