Mighty Digicel Fiji ‘Barbarians’ won the  cup championship of the 2nd edition of the Carlton Rugby sevens tournament beating Spain 38 pooints to 7 in the final worked off at the Sugathadasa Stadium on Nov 28. The win also ensured a cash prize of US $ 25,000. Hosts Sri Lanka managed to win  ‘Shield’ after defeated United Arab Emirates (31-19).
