Following her passing, Rep. Jackie Walorski’s legacy is being covered by a congressional correspondent for Fox News on “Special Report.”

Jackie Walorski’s, R-Ind., choice to vote against the impeachment of former President Trump and the certification of President Biden’s victories in Arizona and Pennsylvania.
Emma Thomson and Zachary Potts, two of Walorski’s employees, were sadly murdered in a car accident on Wednesday. The congresswoman’s religious conservatism and anti-abortion views, particularly her opposition to the Women’s Health Protection Act and the Ensuring Access to Abortion Act, were mentioned in a story by The Washington Post.
“Walorski, a supporter of Donald Trump, voted against the president’s impeachment in 2021 for his involvement in the attack on the Capitol on January 6, which left one police officer and four others dead and more than 100 law enforcement personnel injured. Critics including former House GOP aide Ellen Carmichael objected to the Post’s framing.
The narrative also featured mourning expressions from all sides of the political divide. Many Democratic and Republican senators, including Biden, expressed shock and sadness at the news.
She was regarded by members of both parties for her work on the House Ways and Means Committee, where she served, Biden said. “We may have represented different parties and disagreed on many topics, but she was respected for her work there.”
Walorski’s former colleague on the Ways and Means committee, Rep. Gwen Moore of Wisconsin, expressed her sadness and referred to her as a “beloved colleague.”

“Left of center, a northbound passenger car made a head-on collision with a southbound sport utility vehicle. Walorski had Thomson as her communications director and Potts as her district director.

Following the congresswoman’s passing, a statement from Walorski’s office was made public.
“The Elkhart County Sheriff’s office has told Dean Swihart, Jackie’s husband, that Jackie was killed in an automobile accident this afternoon. In order to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, she has gone home “The office of Walorski stated in a statement. “Please remember her family in your prayers. In addition to the tragic loss of Congresswoman Walorski, I also regret to inform you of the passing of Zach Potts and Emma Thomson, two devoted members of her staff. They embodied the ideal public servants who had a genuine passion for the work they did on behalf of the residents of Indiana’s Second Congressional District.”
